Our Story
Joseph S. Evans II, Michael A. Evans

Our journey began in Uniontown, PA, shaped early by the challenges of CYS and foster care placement. Growing up with nothing to lose, We developed a fierce sense of drive and a willingness to take risks that would define our path. We worked relentlessly through high school, living independently and learning the value of hard work and self-reliance.At 18, we earned our CDL and entered the gas and oil industry. By 21, we pivoted into a welding career, starting from the very bottom and grinding my way up through dedication and perseverance. We pushed as far as we could within the corporate structure, always striving for more.During the COVID-19 pandemic, my brother and I took a bold leap and founded our own welding company—Evans Brothers Services. Through grit and determination, we built strong industry connections and laid the foundation for what became the next chapter in our journey: the launch of NextWave.Today, I, Joseph am proud to not only be a business owner but also a husband and father. My amazing wife, our beautiful daughter, my stepson, and our adopted nephew are my daily inspiration. I’m passionate about giving back to others and spending time outdoors—two things that keep me grounded and grateful for how far I’ve come.I, Michael, am a proud partner of Nextwave. My fulfillment comes from helping as many people as possible by finding solutions, creating jobs, and bettering the community.

Do you know what it takes to be an entrepreneur? I’ll answer that for you. It’s anyone who has drive, motivation, determination, and dedication.
My entrepreneurship journey started at a young age. When I was a kid, I did anything I could to make a dollar. I cut grass, I learned how to DJ, I worked at a graphic design shop and I did photography. I saved as much money as I could through school because I had a dream to start my own business.
I finished high school at 18 and I immediately started working as a conductor for Norfolk Southern Railroad. While working on the Railroad, I was constantly writing ideas down, I couldn’t sit still, and all of my coworkers would say things like “man, you don’t belong here” or “this isn’t your path, you can do great things”. So I started my own business; Brumley’s Luxury Detailing. I always had an eye for detail and I loved cars, but I took it a step further and did mobile detailing. That way I could make it convenient for everyone. I drove my mobile detailing van that my dad and I customized, to the customer and detailed on site. Working on the railroad and running my own business was a lot. I worked long hours, on call shifts, weekends, and so forth. I had no time for my family or friends. When I started realizing I was making decent money from my detailing business, I took the jump and quit the railroad to focus on what I wanted in life; freedom. Brumley’s Luxury Detailing is still up and running in Uniontown, PA and I’m proud of where it stands. My employees have been a huge impact for my business and I’m so grateful for them.
Around 6 years ago, I threw the idea around about flipping houses and having rentals. I always saw the potential of a house. It may look run down and dirty, but my mind was focused on the future of the home. My mind has always had a “designer” side to it. I bought my first flip house for 8k. I did most of the work with my dad and my fiancée to keep the cost down. We completely gutted the house and redid everything! I put a grand total of about 70k. It took a lot of time and effort but when it was done, It was only on the market for 13 hours before it sold. I had a check written out to me for 159k and that’s when I knew there was so much potential in real estate and I am continuing to grow that area still today.
Now, at age 30, I took another HUGE leap of faith and NextWave Industries was born with some of the best partners I could ask for. We all met by fate, with the same mindset and determination. We have grown quickly in just a few short months and we have so much more to conquer. I am also proud and excited to say that I am marrying my best friend and partner for life this summer. She keeps me grounded, builds me up, and pushes me to be the best person I can be! I have a lot to be thankful for, and I thank God everyday for it.
Jack Albert Rodgers III,
I grew up in Uniontown, PA. I came from humble beginnings, facing the loss of my father when I was just 11, in which shaped who I am today.
I’ve worked in various manufacturing environments, focusing mostly on pharmaceuticals, I eventually took a huge leap into my own business after a constant feeling of emptiness punching a clock.
For the past seven years, I’ve owned and operated Jacks Motors. Self taught, I became skilled in sales, finance, marketing, and much more!
As a brand new adventure approached, I took a huge dice roll into contract manufacturing with our company NEXTWAVE INDUSTRIES! Putting in all my time, energy, and focus, I can say I am a proud owner and founder of this beautiful machine that provides so much for our community today.
I’m a devoted husband and father, and family means the world to me. I’m extremely passionate for fitness and self development. One of my favorite things to do as a hobby is anything with sports cars!
